This... is a very unusual project, in the spirit of the very prehistoric Wild Times (does anyone still remember it, lol?), with the difference that on Etude the rules of one life apply. And for me, Etude was blood-red as many as 6 times, considering the rather cruel endings of almost all my characters, and also, once, the color of an absurd joke - you need to be careful on the towers.

Etude is not a server for everyone, that's true. It is moderately difficult, requiring attention, not a "quick beer run" - here you can quite unironically die so absurdly that it becomes local folklore, or you can die like a Legend, ending your character's history not just as a line in the list of the dead, but as a line among the real legends of Etude (it's hard to get in there, I tried). The server is interesting if you don't rush headlong, as already written. Even a normal deer hunt can become a real story, and every foray into the Zone (into the Zone specifically, a walk five hundred meters from the barbed wire doesn't count) is truly memorable - you might find yourself in a group of field researchers from NII, trembling in terror at a pig farm, becoming listeners to a real war at the Arc, or on the contrary, end up in such a turn that death might really seem like an easy choice.

There is a relatively large number of quests that, one way or another, will reward the player for completing them, but sometimes completing seemingly simple tasks requires so much brain wracking that it becomes bad not for the character but for the player (the same Chel). This server is more about thinking, walking thoughtfully through the Zone, rather than "I came for a shootout" and non-stop farming. Speaking of farming - yes, to some extent it does exist, but the deeper you go into the Zone, the more rewarding it is, which is logical. But even walking near the barbed wire you can earn decent money, and sometimes even find decent gear.
