I like how responsive the engineers are, they always help and explain what's what
The players here, like the engineers, will tell, show, and help
A bunch of quest missions that give you a blast
Cool dungeons
Mutanina is set up nicely
Overall I recommend this server for relaxation and new experiences
Everything for people. Everything is described in the description. Everything matches. The project is developing - it doesn't stand still. I'll add to my review, everything is getting even better, events, community, atmosphere. I spent almost 2 months on the server, I like everything
Good PvE server, I think it belongs more to Hardcore than to Light. Lots of cool stuff, quests, no time to get bored. Respect to the developer or development team. The server is nice 🤪
Good server. Everything is clear. Perfect for beginners!
Everything for people. Everything is written in the description. Everything matches. The project is developing - it's not standing still. Not a donation dump. Just come in - And immediately start your story at the Pioneer camp.
|PVE|DarkWood Project-2|- this is the best server I've ever encountered!Special thanks to the server administration, always friendly and patient, constant updates on the server,a multitude of interesting things and with soul!thank you all
PvE server with quests, dungeons, bots with big guns, diverse fauna, logged in just to run around for 2-3 hours but ended up getting hooked for 7 months. RECOMMEND!!!
DarkWood server is one of the best PvE projects I’ve had the chance to play. It’s built on the Expansion mod and offers a truly hardcore yet balanced gameplay experience with a huge amount of content.
From the very first minutes it was clear that the project was made with soul. It has everything to interest both new players and DayZ veterans.
📌 Main server advantages:
— Airdrops with mutants and valuable loot
— Automatic events: checkpoints, camps, clearing
— Custom locations, including trade zones and challenging dungeons
— Over 500 quests, including story, daily, and group ones
— Interesting enemies: boosted zombies, mutants, cyborgs, insects
— Bots are configured fairly: they don’t oneshot, but put up a fight
— Multifunctional crafting: weapons, armor, medicine, drones
— Unique faction weapon upgrade system
— Developed economy: fishing, hunting, growing cannabis, mining ore
— P2P market, ATMs, themed traders
— Virtual garage and convenient storage — no need to build a base
— Infinite stamina, fall damage disabled, no need to sleep
— Frequent restarts (every 3 hours) and good server stability
The project gives players huge freedom — whether you want to play solo or join a group. You can focus on survival, quests, looting, farming, crafting, or simply explore an interesting, content‑filled world.
💬 Summary:
DarkWood is a PvE server that stands out from most projects thanks to its deep development, rich gameplay, and active admin work. If you’re looking for a stable server with an engaging atmosphere and plenty of activities — it’s definitely worth a try.
Rating: 10/10. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get the most out of PvE in DayZ.
Excellent server! I really enjoyed it and now I’ll tell you why!
It has a huge variety of content, and it’s not just a mishmash but a well‑put‑together build that’s coherent as a whole! This applies to all aspects of the server: armor sets, weapons, vehicles – everything blends harmoniously.
Special praise goes to the quest line. If you read each quest, you can see that there really is a storyline written with soul. They cover a large part of the map and you feel progression with every completed quest.
About donations. They exist like everywhere else, but you’re not forced to donate, since almost everything can be obtained, crafted, or traded in the game. Donation only speeds up progression or slightly eases the gameplay.
About lag. I barely noticed any here. Considering it’s DayZ, it can’t be made perfect, but the guys did as well as possible. It’s comfortable to play even in heavily populated areas. I play on a 3070, i7 10700, 32GB of RAM.
