Moderation on the HyMagic server leaves much to be desired. One gets the impression that the administration practically does not control the actions of moderators and does not monitor the fairness of the punishments issued.
Let me clarify right away: I received the first two warnings justifiably and do not deny my fault. However, I consider the subsequent punishment in the form of a mute and a 1488-day ban for an indirect rather than direct insult excessive and disproportionate to the situation.
The problem is not that violations are punished, but that punishments should be adequate and the rules should be applied consistently to all players. One gets the impression that a moderator can issue an extremely serious punishment at their own discretion, and no one will control their actions.
As a result, an unpleasant impression of the server is formed: even if you acknowledge your mistakes, this does not guarantee fair treatment from the moderation.
Bottom line: HyMagic needs stricter oversight of moderators, a transparent punishment system, and the ability to objectively appeal decisions. A 1488-day ban for a situation like this looks excessive and only increases distrust in the administration and the quality of moderation.
