I came here a week ago, and everything feels smooth. Lag is barely noticeable even in the evening, the host is clearly powerful. The admins hang out in chat and help if something isn't clear. The mods are well-chosen — nothing extra, but plenty to do. The neighbors in the region are decent, already helped me out with resources a couple of times. The balance settings are pleasing: donations aren't oppressive, everything can be earned through gameplay. A lively server with soul.
