A cheater has set up a base at the castle; he shot me through a tree from 2,000 meters away and was firing grenades that knock down trees Please check your servers.
I still couldn't join the server.For some reason Steam crashes and won't load.

Survivors! Our Open Beta Testing (OBT) stage is gradually coming to an end. We have analyzed your feedback, fixed the found bugs, and polished the economy.
Right now and until September 11, the OBT continues! You can still join the server, explore the map, test the mechanics, and just have fun without fear of losing your loot.
But very soon, Chernarus is in for a full reset. All bases will be destroyed, stashes emptied — this is your chance to start from scratch on equal footing with everyone!

I agree with everyone – Fenix is a real clown. They called me in for a cheat check, I showed them everything they asked, I almost took my pants off in front of them, they found nothing, called me a dickhead, and banned me. And I figured they do that to everyone they don't like.
The funniest thing is that my Steam account is 14 years old — 2 games with over 5k hours, almost 1.5k hours in DayZ, and several games with 1k hours each — and over all this time I don't have a VAC ban in a single game. I'm 100% clean and was ready to prove it, and I did prove it. But Fenix and his bootlickers can only jeer and unjustifiably use their two-bit power.
DayZ is up to 50% off on Steam in the PvE Survival Crafting Fest, and the sale arrives with a firm date for the next expansion: DayZ Badlands launches on all platforms on October 15. The expansion was showcased at Gamescom and is available to wishlist now.
As with previous expansions, DayZ Badlands will also bring changes, improvements, and new content to the base game. Update 1.29: Road to Badlands gave an early taste of Badlands assets and content, and Update 1.30 is shaping up to be a banger as well. In DayZ, you're one of the few immune survivors in a post-Soviet region overrun by infected, with survival depending on how far you'll go.
