Motor Town: Behind The Wheel 0.7.19 hotfix kills quest exploit, fixes crashes

The 0.7.19 Build 1094 hotfix for Motor Town: Behind The Wheel arrived August 18, 2026, closing a farmable fire-extinguishing quest exploit and fixing dedicated server crashes, radio failures, and a range of smaller bugs.

Quest and police role fixes

  • The fire extinguish quest could be restarted repeatedly to farm its reward; that exploit is now closed.
  • Fires on ground or grass couldn't be put out with a hose, a cannon, or an extinguisher; fixed.
  • A tracked quest could show no destination marker until it was untracked and tracked again.
  • A passenger without the police role could place spike strips from a police car; no longer possible.

Vehicle and UI fixes

  • The Brutus tanker's back door could become unusable after driving away and coming back; fixed.
  • The pause menu now returns to Town instead of reopening the last used tab.
  • The Motorpedia Production tab was empty and now shows information.
  • The new "Open Inventory" key is now in Controls options and can be rebound.
  • Two loading screen tips gave incorrect information about container returns and vehicle limits; corrected.

Radio, server, and connectivity fixes

  • Several built-in internet radio stations stopped working and were removed. If a player's selected station is gone, the radio now falls back to in-game music instead of going silent.
  • Dedicated servers could crash with an access violation, including when idle with no players; fixed.
  • The reason an admin typed when kicking a player is now written to the server log.
  • Connections to the leaderboard service failed after the server certificate was renewed; resolved.
  • Some settings players had turned off could switch themselves back on after playing 0.7.20 and returning to 0.7.19; that regression is fixed.

Motor Town 0.7.19 adds city bus, 4x2 Semi, coffee & donuts

Motor Town: Behind The Wheel update 0.7.19 is out as of July 30, bringing a new low-floor city bus, a Longhorn Semi 4x2, the Elisa2 sedan, food buffs at the Cafe, driveway paving, dynamic trade and weather, plus a large batch of changes and fixes.

Vehicles, food & cargo

  • Civo bus at the bus dealer: kneels its right side for easier boarding and has a reversing camera.
  • Longhorn Semi 4x2: new day-cab tractor; Longhorn aero parts now provide aerodynamic drag benefits, and rear cabin seating was added.
  • Elisa2 sedan with openable trunk; a police-spec version joins service, replacing the old Elisa. The tuned Nuke Police GT is now at the Police Station vehicle spawner.
  • Coffee & donuts at the Cafe boost stamina and running speed while carrying heavy items; the buff is shown on the vendor.
  • Cargo pickup now lets you choose which cargo space to load into, useful for truck + dolly + multi-trailer setups.
  • Export/import prices adjust dynamically by global trade activity; the delivery menu shows the applied multiplier.

Driving, comfort & UI

  • Passenger comfort now considers the whole trip — hard braking, sharp turns, collisions — and can recover during smooth driving. The HUD shows live feedback and the final comfort score.
  • Autopilot gains detailed settings, including bus-stop wait duration, plus orbit and fly-by cinematic cameras while autopilot is active.
  • Attachment lights get a flash-pattern offset option for alternating wig-wag patterns.
  • Inventory hotkey is now I (or LB + B on gamepad); the Event shortcut moved to U. Sprint Hold/Toggle input was added.
  • Spawn and summon menus show damage icons and a low-fuel icon below 15%; battery capacity now displays in kWh, vehicle info shows length/width, and the spawn menu shows the on-map spawn location.

World, housing & visuals

  • New destinations: Biyang Electronic Factory, Freshwater Fish Market in Gwangjin, Seafood Restaurant in Ara, and a Building Materials vendor at Gangjung Hardware Store. Biyang makes Circuit Board Pallets, now needed by the Transformer Factory 50MVA and Terra Factory.
  • Pave and tile driveways; add building/parking placement adjustment, stone walls, colored property letters, and map-visible parking spaces.
  • The world changes over time: a Cargo Yard appears, some residences change appearance, and passengers follow a day-of-week schedule. Dasa Harbor gets a roundabout.
  • Volumetric clouds add dynamic rain transitions; toggleable in graphics settings and auto-disabled on Intel integrated graphics.
  • Roadside scenery around Terra Factory and the Jeju north–south road was refreshed for steadier framerates.

Police, escort & servers

  • Police: “Tow to nearest police station” at level 10+, non-whitelisted players can ride as passengers, and police-only player icons on the map.
  • Escort: minimap range indicator, distance limit raised to 200m (towns can extend another 200m via policy), progress saved across restarts, and a 5-minute grace for stepping out.
  • Admins can despawn dropped cargo, add kick reasons, and refresh/sort the Admin Vehicles list by distance.
  • Server settings — rain, fire, NPC density, player limit, session password — can be changed in-game without restarting.
  • Dedicated servers can opt into pausing while empty via bPauseSimulationWhileNoPlayers; the clock, town stats, production and rent timers stop and CPU usage drops. A TimeOfDayMinutes setting also controls day length.
  • Mod management: warning for modded Pak files, a Mod List screen to enable/disable each mod, and auto-disable after a crash. If you hit crashes or odd bugs, uninstall mods first.

Other notable changes

  • New tree-based Quest UI with auto-tracking and more tutorial quests.
  • Workshop sort/search/tags; Company route search/sort/clickable names; corporation vehicle slots expandable to 20; colored company member map icons and member vehicles on the map.
  • Web API additions: AFK/autopilot data, coordinates and cargo data, chat banning, town policy, and trade history.
  • Loading-screen tips, bus-stop schedules, a LAN option, and a bank parking space are also in.
  • The bug-fix list covers AI traffic and roundabouts, police/escort jobs, custom light patterns, maps/UI, vehicle handling, and performance.

Reasonable rules, reasonable admins. Playing is a pleasure. You cooperate with players. If you don't break the rules and don't intentionally disrupt the gameplay, no one has any complaints against you.

They help newcomers here. I personally didn't play the game for about a year (took a break). A few days ago I logged in, asked questions in chat. Got answers and help. I noticed that newcomers are also being helped.

The server has its own Discord channel

Probably the best place in motortown if you're looking to play multiplayer

The community is mature & helpful, focuses on relaxed environment with respect for others in mind.

Admins are active during EU hours, and messaging them results in active resolution about players who cause disruptions or simply being assholes.

They have features, simple and to the point. no hollow functionality.

I couldnt recommend another server more.

  • This is how real motortown should look like. Underrated server alert!!!!

unique and exceptional functionality, custom scripts. you can drive without roadside service and AP [ RP mode ] to earn 200% and extras.

Very good staff. Good atmosphere.

This is hopefully future of motortown. The best server in terms of quality you can find in motortown.

The reviews seem a little ancient. But they do not reflect whats happening there today.

Admins are readily available, dont bother you, dont abuse their powers, and are not cocks.
Server has its own culture, apparently a cult, and hosts regular events. Great atmosphere

41 listens to the playerbase and as only server, now entaces punishments to people going ridiculous speeds in GJ which is main drop point for cars. huge W for that which saves car deliveries.

Performance is exceptional.

Ive been trucker there for several weeks, had a chill time.

Simply my favorite server in Motor Town. "Why?" You may ask. Well, where do I begin?

Firstly, this server is PACKED with exclusive features other servers don't have. Like the banking system, decal import, its own track editor, a live map, its very own radio (complete with song requests!), event logger, collaborative jobs, and more! Courtesy of the head admin, Freeman, along with other contributors in the community including, but not limited to, Meehoi, Dunst, Dr-P, and more.

Events are a big part of AMC. AMC has held numerous race events every week for the majority of the server's lifetime. But, starting from May of 2025, the AMC Cup championship series has players of the community excited and hyped. Instead of regular races where every man's for himself, players get to create and pick a team to join and compete with other teams for points and placements. What are these arbitrary points for, you may ask? Well, they are also a factor for the prizepools at the end of the championship, with the top players & teams getting a huge payday from Mr. Freeman himself.

Oftentimes in big servers, I feel like a speck of dust. Ignored and brushed aside. But in AMC, I feel like an actual person. People greet me, say bye to me when I log off, and collaborate with me on jobs together. That's how good the community is. They will not hesitate to help you.

Speaking of the community, AMC has a relatively big community of artists. Crazy liveries and decals spread throughout Jeju & Oji, which will make you think, "How did they make that ingame, without mods?!"

Overall, the best online gaming experience i've had with complete strangers. 10/10
