Take a few seconds and read to the end!
If YOU are looking for an RP project, not a donation tunnel dump with elements of Stalker - then go to Etude.
If YOU are fed up with mindless endless factions with pseudo-philosophy (like Duty punishes for detectors, Freedom for mutant parts, bandits are just AUE schoolkids, and Monolith, not only do they roleplay as a backward AI, but they will also punish you for all of the above) - then go to Etude.
If YOU think that the project economy is made somehow incorrrectly (transferred from a SOLO game to online) - then go to ETude.
If YOU are sure that the heavy wound rules are just nonsense (like an anomaly rips you apart, and he comes running after 15 minutes as if nothing happened) - then go to ETude!

Yes, our gameplay is not that fast, the map is huge but authentic, inspiration comes not from Stalker games but from books. No one will simplify anything here, no one will run up and hand you money and a machine gun in the village. Even getting information will be hard. But this is that very Stalker that many RP players dreamed of, and many, having waited or not found it, simply gave up. One life is not a death sentence, it's new emotions, new sensations both during gameplay and in RP! Welcome to the world of STALKER EtudeRP

For the second month now, I've been immersed in the atmosphere of the "EtudeRP" server — and it's truly a unique experience for connoisseurs of hardcore roleplay interaction.

What impresses.

  • Atmosphere and realism.
The sound design (especially the hum of anomalies) still gives me goosebumps — the dark aesthetic of the Zone is conveyed so convincingly. Each foray beyond the perimeter is filled with tension and vivid emotions.
  • Freedom of action.
There are no templates or strict restrictions: you decide for yourself how to develop, with whom to interact, and what risks to take. This is a true "player-driven" experience, where mechanics are not important, but your will and resourcefulness are.
  • Living community.
Players invest in their characters — dialogues, conflicts, joint missions are carried out with incredible enthusiasm. Unlike many projects, here you feel genuine involvement, not formal roleplaying.
  • Realistic medicine.
The treatment system forces you to act quickly but thoughtfully. Mistakes here are not just a penalty, but a valuable lesson that teaches you to keep a cool head in critical situations.

Features to consider.

  • High difficulty.-The server is not for those looking for easy gameplay. An incautious word or action can get a harsh response — it's part of the atmosphere, but requires readiness for consequences.
  • Minimum events.-The emphasis is on free interaction between players, not on scripted events. If you want to focus on personal RP and world exploration — that's a plus, but fans of constant activities might find it a bit boring.
  • Weather conditions.-Frequent rains add realism, but can complicate movement and tactics.

Conclusion.
EtudeRP — a challenge for those who want to truly immerse themselves in the world of Stalker. There is no "play to win" here, but there is space for creativity, risk, and growth through mistakes. If you are ready for strict rules, appreciate deep RP and want to test your nerves — this server is definitely for you.
Recommend to: experienced roleplayers, fans of hardcore simulations, and those who are looking not for a game, but for living interaction in the atmosphere of the Zone.

Hardcore project, variety of activities keeps boredom away. Good community, someone to talk to about what's on your mind.

This... is a very unusual project, in the spirit of the very prehistoric Wild Times (does anyone still remember it, lol?), with the difference that on Etude the rules of one life apply. And for me, Etude was blood-red as many as 6 times, considering the rather cruel endings of almost all my characters, and also, once, the color of an absurd joke - you need to be careful on the towers.

Etude is not a server for everyone, that's true. It is moderately difficult, requiring attention, not a "quick beer run" - here you can quite unironically die so absurdly that it becomes local folklore, or you can die like a Legend, ending your character's history not just as a line in the list of the dead, but as a line among the real legends of Etude (it's hard to get in there, I tried). The server is interesting if you don't rush headlong, as already written. Even a normal deer hunt can become a real story, and every foray into the Zone (into the Zone specifically, a walk five hundred meters from the barbed wire doesn't count) is truly memorable - you might find yourself in a group of field researchers from NII, trembling in terror at a pig farm, becoming listeners to a real war at the Arc, or on the contrary, end up in such a turn that death might really seem like an easy choice.

There is a relatively large number of quests that, one way or another, will reward the player for completing them, but sometimes completing seemingly simple tasks requires so much brain wracking that it becomes bad not for the character but for the player (the same Chel). This server is more about thinking, walking thoughtfully through the Zone, rather than "I came for a shootout" and non-stop farming. Speaking of farming - yes, to some extent it does exist, but the deeper you go into the Zone, the more rewarding it is, which is logical. But even walking near the barbed wire you can earn decent money, and sometimes even find decent gear.

The server is saturated with the Stalker atmosphere, and despite some moments, it's still head and shoulders above those donation RP projects. Here, you really think before you act. I searched through other servers for a long time until I stumbled upon this project. It's unique in its own way—the map captivates with its scale, and the mechanics make you think, which makes it even more interesting.
