Alien Deathstorm's Gamescom trailer showcases the Reactor mission
Rebellion has released a new gameplay trailer for its action-horror first-person shooter Alien Deathstorm, timed to Gamescom, where the game was playable for the first time. The footage focuses on the Reactor mission, and Alien Deathstorm launches in Spring 2027.
Alien Deathstorm casts you as an isolated Engineer, dropped into a decimated human colony ravaged by a cataclysmic mega-storm and overrun by dangerous aliens. What looks like a rescue mission quickly turns into a furious fight for survival: the storm is an ever-present, escalating threat, and the alien swarm is seemingly endless.
Gamescom players got their first taste of the Reactor mission. To recover the Fission Initiator, the Engineer must survive horrific conditions and a relentless alien onslaught while fighting inside a malfunctioning fission reactor.
