Animalia Survival 176.00: New insects, TLVL 2 map, interface fixes
Update 176.00 is now live for the Steam old version and testpublic branch, while crossplay players receive version 138.0. The patch introduces new insects to the Tanzania map, announces the return of the TLVL 2 map, improves the interface, removes the Easter event menu, and fixes the brown lion mane transparency issue.
Tanzania map update
The Tanzania map receives general improvements and two new insect species: the praying mantis and the dung beetle. The team is working on a fix for floating plants and grass.
TLVL 2 map returning
The TLVL 2 map will return soon, rebuilt and redesigned with new areas, points of interest, and additional content. Performance and stability improvements are a priority during the rework. More details and screenshots will follow.
Interface improvements and Easter event removal
The game interface has been updated with visual and functional enhancements aimed at a cleaner, more intuitive experience. The Easter event menu and all associated interface elements have been removed.
Brown lion mane fix
A transparency issue with the brown mane material has been resolved, eliminating visual artifacts.
Crossplay development: fur system and mod support
A new fur system is in development for crossplay, targeting improved visual quality, performance, and customization. Mod support is also being tested, allowing players to create custom models, fur variations, and other content. The system is still in testing, with more information coming later.
