Team Fortress 30th Anniversary event hits Team Fortress 2 Classified tomorrow

The Team Fortress 30th Anniversary Event begins tomorrow, August 24, and runs through August 31, 2026, as part of Team Fortress 2 Classified 3.1.0. It marks 30 years since the original Team Fortress team-deathmatch mod launched for Quake on August 24, 1996.

For the next week, players can dive into "Classic-Vision" and four deep-cut maps from previous Team Fortress games, left as untouched as possible. The developers describe it as embracing the past "in all its beauty and terror" and becoming "uselessly experienced" on those maps.
