Core Keeper's latest underground note teases a cowboy creation

Core Keeper's seventh "Notes From the Underground" journal entry, "Yee-Haw!," arrived on August 27, 2026. In it, the Explorer describes a "growing, living world, lost to the ages" and finds "undiscovered patches of greenery" in a darker, more ruin-filled corner of the underground.

The local fauna may be toothy, but it turns out to be more placid than expected — placid enough that the Explorer tests their latest creation on one creature. "You can't judge a book by its cover, and you can't judge a creature by the sheer volume of its teeth," they write.

The Explorer worried the creation might need adjustments for use on bipeds, but reports it "fits just fine." The entry closes on a strong cowboy note: "I certainly feel like a real rancher now. Dare I say, yee-haw?"
