SCUM hotfix 1.3.3.1.145413 patches Apex Hunt and crashes
SCUM has received hotfix 1.3.3.1.145413, a follow-up to August's Update that targets crashes, TEC1 Research Facilities, Apex Hunt quests, and a range of gameplay, world, server, and sandbox issues. The patch also adds a new crash reporter and automatic server crash report submission.
TEC1 facility and Apex Hunt
- Barbed wire around TEC1 Research Facilities now damages players as intended.
- The Apex Mutant Bear no longer gets stuck in an elevated position when blocked and no longer stays aggroed on the player who triggered it.
- The "Enter A Block" Apex Hunt objective now progresses after leaving and re-entering the Apex Facility.
- Server restarts no longer reset Apex Hunt quest progress.
- Quests can no longer be completed during active events using event weapons.
Crashes and reporting
- Fixed a crash that could occur after opening the Manual and then the Journal from the Inventory.
- Added a new crash reporter so players can submit a report after a game crash.
- Server crash reports are now submitted automatically.
Gameplay, world, and server fixes
- Crab Apples, Dates, Plums, and Watermelons now work in the Fruit Salad recipe, and incorrect descriptions on heatless salads were fixed.
- A second Triangle Twig Foundation can now be placed on the opposite side of a Twig Wall, and Level 3 metal Triangle Foundations can be upgraded to Level 4 brick.
- Locks removed from a Barba while it was in the water are now returned to the player.
- Fixed missing ground collision near the secret bunker in sector C3, which previously let players crawl under the map.
- Visual fixes include guard booth shadows at the trader zone entrance, a low-quality container in sector B1, Apex Jacket clipping through Tracksuit Pants on female characters using 1-1-5 body settings, Socks clipping through Apex Predator Boots without Trousers, and Master Hunter Pants clipping through the Luis Moncada Jacket.
- Server and sandbox fixes cover the base decay setting in circular custom regions, the unavailable fish spawn command, and Sandbox Mode not letting players spawn DLC items they owned.
Known issues
- Some players cannot access previously earned Twitch Drops. This is a backend issue, so no additional hotfix or game download is needed.
- Some servers may not appear in the in-game server browser; affected servers can still be joined by entering their IP address manually.
