Arma Reforger 1.8.0.13 cuts rotor damage taken, fixes radio bugs

Update 1.8.0.13 for Arma Reforger is live on all platforms as of September 3, 2026. Rotors now take greatly reduced damage, and the patch also improves ping calculation, fixes an intermittent radio failure, and clears up several crash and modding issues.

Gameplay fixes

  • Helicopter rotors now take greatly reduced damage.
  • Fixed far hide outline artifacts when using MSAA.
  • Fixed possible character ragdoll deformation.
  • Deployable FIA tents no longer offer “Toggle spawning with saved loadout,” since FIA can’t save loadouts.
  • Fixed a triggered weapon equip followed by an Emote command that made the equipped weapon levitate above the character.
  • Fixed loiter animations sometimes breaking.
  • Fixed vehicles not rolling downhill when the parking brake was released while physics were paused.
  • Fixed the HQC saved-loadout supply cost not being limited by non-MSAR items.
  • Added Analytics settings to the Gameplay settings menu and improved ping calculation.

Stability and server fixes

  • Fixed a crash when using vanilla scripted commands on a modded server via RCON.
  • Client logs now record the server ID and name on successful join requests; server logging also improved for when players become commander.
  • Locked IOP.Reset to avoid multithreading issues.
  • Fixed a crash from equipment items using an empty model, plus several rare VMEs and null pointer exceptions linked to map scale, the building editor, HitZone::SetHealthScaled, and task-system errors such as SCR_CampaignBuildingTransformingEditorComponent.

Modding changes

  • Stopped thermalProfileDefault.conf log spam and enabled the SCR_AnalyticsApplication world system and related scripts.
  • Group creation now follows clearer rules: players can be joined to an existing matching group, duplicates aren’t created for a matching solo group, private group requests require auto-join, groups are deleted when the last player leaves, and privacy state can only be set or replicated when the group’s rules allow it.
  • Fixed persistence script rules not being invoked.
  • Fixed TDR crashes when generating the Shore map.

Known issues are tracked on the Known Issues page, and feedback can be submitted via the Feedback Tracker.
