Euro Truck Simulator 2's UK Rework adds historic Bristol

SCS Software has revealed 'Historic Bristol' as a brand-new city in the Euro Truck Simulator 2 UK Rework. The south-west England city will be part of the reworked UK map that arrives as a free update for all owners, though today's look is still early in development.

Bristol's recreation is split into two main areas: the city centre with its road network, and a harbour/logistics district. Its position near the Severn Estuary also makes it a natural route between England and South Wales.

Harbour docks and depot locations

The waterfront area features Marina Plaza depot, a logistics warehouse, a car shipping terminal, and a marina yacht dock, set around Bristol Marina and the Albion Dockyard. The preserved SS Great Britain, launched in Bristol in 1843, can also be spotted in the historic dockyard.

Roads and landmarks

Planned roads include Brunel Way, the A4, Hotwell Road, Merchants Road, and the A4018, running past residential streets and riverside views. Drivers will also encounter St James Barton Roundabout, better known as The Bearpit.

Landmarks visible from the routes include Isambard Kingdom Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge over the Avon Gorge, Cabot Tower on Brandon Hill, the Wills Memorial Building, and Queen Elizabeth's Hospital.

Bristol Bus & Coach station

The city's bus station is being recreated as part of the growing coach network and will serve as a destination in the upcoming Coaches DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2.
