World of Trucks events resume for Euro Truck Simulator 2

World of Trucks events are returning to Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator in the familiar format, after a temporary pause earlier this year. The events mean a lot to the community, and many players missed taking part. The wider rework continues, but events are resuming throughout the months ahead.

First up is Cruising South Dakota, followed by Cruising Iceland and the seasonal Halloween and Christmas events later this year. Full details will be shared ahead of each event.

Work also continues on the systems and infrastructure behind World of Trucks events. The aim is to bring much more of the event experience directly into Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. That includes previously described improvements: viewing and redeeming rewards, earning and viewing achievements, and following event progress and community milestones in-game. Broader behind-the-scenes changes are also part of the work to support the World of Trucks service in the future.
