PixARK 1.236 patch raises Terracrypt loot and cuts Ice Demon Scorpion damage

PixARK will undergo server maintenance on September 14, expected to last 45 minutes. The 1.236 update follows launch issues with the Terracrypt expansion and includes server stability work, three bug fixes, and Terracrypt tuning.

The update includes a server performance optimization for PixARK, Skypiea, and Terracrypt intended to reduce server stuttering and improve server-mode gameplay.

The team lists occasional stuttering and failures to connect to official game servers as known major issues. Some issues still require further investigation and validation. Players who continue to encounter problems after installing the patch are asked to submit feedback through official channels.

Fixed across PixARK, Skypiea, and Terracrypt:

• Candy DLC doors could not be placed properly at times.
• Wild Werewolves in ice form could not receive damage from other wild creatures.
• The Gas Auto Arm, Gas Auto Miner, Advanced Gas Railcar, and Advanced Gas Locomotive were not locked by default after placement.

• The Great Blackwing Bone drop chance from the Boss Cunning Blackwing Beast is greatly increased.
• Wild U-variant Spinosaurus and U-variant Yutyrannus spawn counts are moderately increased.
• Wild Ice Demon Scorpion projectile attack damage is reduced by 20%. Tamed Ice Demon Scorpions are unaffected.
• Wild Ice Spino and Ice Demon Scorpion spawn counts are moderately decreased.

The team apologized again for the expansion's early launch issues and said it will continue releasing frequent updates while reviewing reports and refining PixARK.
