Enshrouded hotfix 1.0.0.1 fixes crashes and nerfs Fire Wisp
Enshrouded's Hotfix 1.0.0.1, published October 15, 2026 and carrying version number 1267041, is focused on stability and a few standout fixes. It addresses random crashes, indoor lighting problems, and crashes tied to specific peripherals attached to the PC. The Fire Wisp scroll has also been changed.
Fire Wisp scroll is now fixed at level 27
The “Fire Wisp” scroll no longer scales with player level. It now has a fixed level of 27. Previously, its damage scaled with the player level, which made the scroll “ridiculously strong” in the end-game. The Deluxe Upgrade Pack's artbook and world map have also been updated.
Sound bug: keep master volume at 100%
The team is observing a sound issue affecting reverb in large halls or rooms and dynamically lowered gameplay sounds while lore voice-over is playing. It only appears when the master volume slider is lower than 100%. Until a fix is available, the recommendation is to keep the master volume slider at 100% and regulate volume through Windows sound settings instead, if needed.
World-edit workaround after the hotfix
An issue cropped up with this hotfix: if the edit button doesn't work when trying to edit your world, try subscribing to something—anything—in adventure sharing, then try editing your world again. That appears to be a temporary workaround while the issue is fixed.
