Enshrouded Hotfix 1.0.0.2 restores world settings, fixes crashes

The October 16, 2026 Hotfix 1.0.0.2 for Enshrouded carries version 1269579 and restores world-settings configuration while fixing a rare save-migration crash. Corrupted character saves will not be migrated in this patch, and a follow-up fix is in the works.

The world-settings issue was introduced accidentally by the previous hotfix while the team fixed misbehaving session lists in the multiplayer join menus.

The save-migration crash occurred when loading a corrupted character save. With this hotfix, those corrupted characters will not be migrated. The developers are working on a fix that will allow migration and repair the corrupted characters at the same time. Players missing a character from their list are asked to be patient: “help is on the way,” the changelog says.

A grey-fog rendering issue on Nvidia graphics cards is fixed. The bug appeared only on Nvidia cards and was especially common in the Hollow Halls.

Factories no longer crash in rare cases when placed down, and the correct menu now appears when interacting with them.

Localization fixes cover the skill-tree descriptions for Aerial Wand Attack, Evasion Attack, Wand Evasion Attack and Crash Down Attack in several languages. More skill descriptions are due in the next patch.

A crash when fast traveling or landing with a glider in a world with many entities—enemies, survivors, mannequins and similar—has also been fixed.

Adventure Share subscribing is more stable, and crashes while browsing shared adventures or starting a download have been fixed.

The hotfix also fixes several rare and randomly occurring crashes, including rare crashes connected to the water simulation and the Twitch link server, a rare crash with a completely filled backpack, and potential crashes while exiting the game. It fixes an issue that could crash the server when fighting a very large number of enemies.
