Soulmask's Bone Bash DLC launches October 22 with 5x festival servers
Soulmask's Bone Bash DLC arrives October 22 with free festival content, including limited-time 5x PvE servers, Bone Factory blueprints and fully reworked controller support.
The Día de Muertos-themed update is Soulmask's first proper attempt at building a version with community creators from start to finish. The trailer's Bone Factory was built by Chieftain 【护月孔雀】, creator of the Golden Throne, using the DLC's Carved Stone and Marigold sets for a Día de Muertos festival feast.
Free furniture set ships outside the DLC
The detailed interior furnishings in the trailer come from a collaboration with mod author leesiontoo, who made a new batch of Día de Muertos-themed furniture. With the author's permission and in line with his wishes, the set will be added to Soulmask as a free update. It is not tied to the Bone Bash DLC in any way and belongs to every Chieftain in the Soulmask community.
Festival servers: 5x PvE, peaceful, 30-day wipe
Bone Bash Festival Servers open October 22. The full server list will be published here when the servers go live. They include official builds open for touring, including the Bone Factory and the Bone Plaza in the starter area.
- 5x PvE rates: XP, gathering and crop yield at 5x; barbarian taming speed, animal and crop growth at 3x; carry weight and inventory capacity at 2x; max 10 Bonfires per player
- Two tribe sizes: separate batches of 4-player and 10-player tribes
- Peaceful mode: no raids, no decay
- Limited run: servers wipe after 30 days
Bone Factory blueprints and controller support
The Bone Factory's builds will be fully included in the Blueprint library, split into selected signature structures so players can place their own Marigold fortress anywhere in one click. Because some structures are large and material-heavy, Unlimited Build Mode must be enabled to construct them.
The reworked controller support also arrives with the October 22 update. A dedicated controller feedback channel will open on Discord afterward, and every message will be taken seriously.
As Soulmask has now been running for two years, a Discord event invites new and veteran Chieftains to share memories of the tribes and Tribesmen they once had in Soulmask, and of friends who no longer play. It looks back at Early Access and is framed around the Día de Muertos saying: "Death is not the end. Being forgotten is."
