SCP: Secret Laboratory Halloween event brings SCP-3114 back

SCP: Secret Laboratory's Halloween update has returned to Site-02, adding festive clutter, skins, items, and SCP-3114 to the regular SCP spawn pool. The event also brings Halloween-themed map changes, audio, and SCP-330 candies. More details on 15.0 Megapatch III will arrive in a separate Steam post soon, and the update remains on track for its 2026 release.

SCP-3114 is re-enabled for Halloween and will spawn naturally alongside the other SCPs. SCP-330's bowl has more candy varieties, all candies have Halloween versions and their special effects, and last year's unique candies are back in the bowl.

All playable SCPs and all Human classes have received Halloween skins, with face paint for Humans and some SCPs. Halloween-themed cosmetics were added to a number of items. SCP-018 has been changed to Jackie with associated sound effects, the Jailbird is now a demon core on a stick, and the Lantern replaces all Flashlight spawns.

Site-02 has Halloween-themed props and lighting across the facility, plus pumpkins and candles in most rooms. SCP-914 is set aflame, Waterfall Crossing flows with blood, the guard in SCP-127 has been crushed by a pumpkin, and the Surface Zone has a blood-red sky.

• The Halloween theme is now the default main-menu theme.
• Halloween-specific sound effects play at Round Start and Round End.
• White Candy now lets players open any door regardless of access for 3 seconds after the effect expires.

The team says this year's Halloween update contains only these changes because work on 15.0 left little time. More Megapatch III information is coming in a separate Steam post soon, and the 2026 release date is still on track.
