Animalia Survival 179.20 expands Savanna_D4, plans partial PC-Android split

Animalia Survival’s Update 179.20 is listed for Steam Old Version (Default) and Testpublic, with Update 138.0 on Crossplayer. The September 15, 2026 announcement also details a Savanna_D4 map overhaul, the return of TLVL2, and a planned partial separation of the PC and Android versions.

Savanna_D4 map update

The Savanna_D4 map has received general improvements:

  • Overall map size increased.
  • Map texture materials changed.
  • New areas, rocks, and lakes added.
  • Carcasses added throughout the map, including a large carcass.
  • Overall system improved, with lighting upgraded from UltraDynamicSky to a better configuration.
  • Tree LOD rendering distance fixed.

TLVL2 map returning to the new version

The TLVL2 map is coming back. The team says it is working on final details so TLVL2 can be brought to the new version of the game in the best possible way. Development continues steadily, and new images, videos, and more information are promised soon. The studio says it is excited for players to explore the new TLVL2.

PC and Android crossplay development: separate versions planned

Android development remains active, but after extensive testing and analysis, High Brazil Studio says it needs to separate the Android and PC versions in certain aspects. The decision is directly related to hardware capability and graphical performance differences between the platforms.

The goal is to maintain the PC version’s visual quality and performance while ensuring a stable, optimized Android experience. The team wants to prevent one platform’s limitations from negatively affecting the other, better using PC graphical potential while giving Android a version optimized for a wider range of devices.

Android development is not being abandoned. The mobile version will continue to receive its own level of optimization, stability, and quality while keeping pace with the game’s evolution. The change requires additional adjustments, testing, and adaptations.

More information will be shared soon on how the separation will work, along with new features and improvements coming to Crossplay PC and Android. The team thanked the community for feedback, patience, and support, and said it continues working to improve Animalia Survival’s realism, performance, and overall quality.
