Conan Exiles gets hotfix 2.0.1, rolls back encumbrance changes

The July hotfix for Conan Exiles is now live. Version 2.0.1 addresses three issues introduced in the 2.0.0 patch. The encumbrance changes that caused players to slow roll when lightly encumbered have been rolled back to the previous behavior. Decay timers now update correctly in the UI, and a stability issue has been fixed where certain combinations of stacked placeables could lose stability when building pieces were replaced nearby.

Conan Exiles: Legacy of the Giant-Kings part one now live

The first chapter of a new four-part story arc has arrived for Conan Exiles Enhanced, sending players into the Cyclopean Halls beneath the Unnamed City. Part one of Legacy of the Giant-Kings is available now, introducing a dangerous new location and the mysterious NPC Akhamet, who tasks players with uncovering the remains of the ancient Giant-Kings.

Alongside the narrative update, the highly requested Legendary repair system makes its return, allowing you to restore battle-worn Legendary weapons and armor and keep them viable deep into the endgame. The update follows the recent Enhanced launch, which drove the game to its highest concurrent player count since release.

What's in part one

  • New dungeon area: The Cyclopean Halls, a dangerous and mysterious location beneath the Unnamed City.
  • Story hook: Akhamet guides players to uncover the secrets of the Giant-Kings.
  • Legendary repair: Restore powerful Legendary gear and extend its usefulness.

Three more parts of Legacy of the Giant-Kings will arrive in the months ahead.
