Welcome to The Viper’s Pit.

We built TVP to be the kind of server we wanted to play on. Somewhere you can get properly lost in an adventure, have a laugh with good people, and still be talking about what happened long after you’ve logged off.

Set on The Channel, our world has two very different sides. In the North, The Viper’s Pit is home to military threats, dangerous AI and valuable gear—if you can make it back with it. To the South lies Fae’s Folly, where things get a little stranger. Supernatural creatures roam the wilds, secrets wait to be uncovered, and some noises are probably best left uninvestigated.

Of course, we know you’re going to investigate them anyway.

There’s plenty here to keep you busy. Follow our custom questlines, hunt down keycards, discover loot caches and work towards rare rewards. Take on a patrol tank, go looking for a dragon, or convince your mates that you’ve definitely brought enough ammunition for whatever comes next. Seasonal quests and rotating loot keep giving you reasons to head out again.

For those feeling particularly brave, there’s Licker’s Lair: an abandoned research facility where Viper’s experiments have been left alone for far too long. Take a team of up to five, bring a light and watch your crossfire. There’s no power down there, some of the creatures release deadly gas, and Mother Licker isn’t pleased to have visitors.

You don’t have to spend every evening fighting for your life, though. Build yourself a home, go hunting or fishing, grow cannabis, craft, trade and save towards your own helicopter. Some nights you’ll want a challenge. Other nights you’ll just want to sort your base and talk rubbish with your friends. We’re here for both.

The people matter just as much as the gameplay.

A huge amount of care has gone into TVP—from us, our testers, our players and people from other communities who have generously helped along the way. We listen to feedback, keep working on the rough edges and love seeing what players get up to in the world we’re building together.

We’re an 18+ community. Expect adult language, good-natured banter and the occasional questionable decision. Racism, sexism, bullying, harassment and deliberately stirring up drama aren’t welcome. Real life gives people enough to deal with; this should be somewhere you enjoy spending your time.

And if you play elsewhere too, that’s absolutely fine. Support other servers, make friends, try new things. You’ll still be welcome here.

Come on your own or bring your crew. There’s plenty to discover, plenty that wants you dead, and a good bunch of people to share it with.
