Do you want everything to be laggy despite having a good server? To be forced into an aggressive role when you just want to "survive"? To be part of the most awful lore you'll ever see? This is your server, 2 admins who only know how to bother people for no reason and then deny it to your face, they laugh at you and you won't even notice, they say they have nothing against you and then they respawn zombies in your base for their own fun, they'll do anything to make you have a bad time for no reason, if I, who was just looking to meet good people and have fun, was banned from their server simply for not wanting an aggressive role and then they put the location of my base in the server's Discord group so that everyone (There are only 4 little people and one of them licks the admin's boots hahaha) would go for my stuff... I don't want to imagine what they can do to you, go to another server, any but this one, it's horrible, trust me for your peace of mind :D

I had a review before just because the owner asked, but now that I've actually had the chance to roleplay for a while on this server, my biggest recommendation would be to skip it, it's a TERRIBLE server. First, let's talk about its administration: obvious favoritism towards their friends, whom they allow to DM without any consequences and ruin the roleplay experience for others. Supposedly it's an ROLEPLAY server, but it's run more like a PVP server. Forget about developing a story with your character the way you want, because if your character doesn't look for trouble with others, then you're too "family friendly" for this server and they'll try to force aggressive roleplay on you for no reason, and the server owner himself will agree with that. They host events that are generally boring, without much sense, and the lore stops making sense quickly because they focus either on themselves or on specific people, excluding everyone else. My group and I talked about these things with the admin, showed them our complaints, and they never really took them into account because those roleplay scenarios continued. That went on until my group and I decided to stop joining, because they were forcing a pointless war roleplay on us with no basis.

Now let's talk about the server itself: if you like playing with lag and desync, then this is your server! You'll see a horde of zombies and will probably die without knowing how. It's full of bugs, runs extremely slow, and sometimes becomes unplayable, forcing you to relog up to 3 or 4 times.

After this, my group and I decided to just stop playing there and set up our own, and that was the reason we were all kicked from the server, because "it was either their server or ours".

Dare to survive… and roleplay?

At first, my experience on this server was quite positive. The community seemed active and the atmosphere promising. However, over time, I started to notice several management errors that, in my opinion, could have been easily resolved if the complaints from the server's own members had been listened to.

Unfortunately, these problems not only persisted, but it also became clear that there was no real intention on the part of the administrators to address them, at least in the short term. I'd like to think this can change, but the lack of openness to dialogue on the part of the admin team leaves doubts.

As for the event system, roleplay, and lore, everything felt messy, without concrete development or a clear direction. Add to that the presence of certain players who clearly weren't interested in narrative roleplay and instead tried to force violent interactions without justification. The most worrying thing was seeing how, even at critical moments, the administrators chose to ignore these situations.

PS: I also dedicated a lot of time to creating my character, their sheet, and the associated writing, including images. Without prior notice, I was removed from the Discord server, resulting in the loss of all that content. Apparently, the administration assumed I would go to another server, which shouldn't have been a reason for expulsion. Moderation shouldn't take these decisions personally; having an interest in exploring other communities doesn't justify losing the work invested.

To top it off, I want to say that, although my experience ended up being negative, at first I had some enjoyable moments. If you're considering joining, I encourage you to try it for yourself. At the end of the day, every experience is different. I just wanted to share the reasons why I, personally, would not recommend it again. Use your own judgment.

From potato farmers who want to punch demons, to supersoldiers with anger issues and doctors with little medical rigor but a lot of bad blood... if something defines the Zombiverso server, it's that you go in to roleplay something and you never know what you'll end up with. One day you can be researching a cure, and the next you're in the middle of a completely different madness.

I've been roleplaying since I was 13 and, without a doubt, this server has been one of the best experiences I've had in terms of roleplay quality. There's a wide variety of mods that make the world unique, and the global plots are very well structured. The factions created by players not only have weight, but truly influence the world. There's always someone to share roleplay with, no matter what you come up with.

That said, a warning: if you plan to jump in for just a couple of hours… be careful. You might end up playing until the next day.
