The game crashes and freezes

Hello,

While playing CS2, the game starts to freeze and in the taskbar it says: "cs2.exe is not responding".
This happens randomly.

I tried:

  • installing a new Windows
  • updating BIOS drivers
  • updating AMD drivers
  • installing DirectX 12
  • replacing RAM with old one
  • reinstalling CS2 on another drive
  • verifying integrity of CS2 files
  • installing Microsoft Visual C++
  • changing in-game settings several times

Nothing helps. CS:GO used to work fine...

The issue may be related to game incompatibility with certain system components. Try lowering graphics settings or disabling overlays from various programs. Also check component temperatures for overheating.
