⭐ My review of Gorgona Rust server
Gorgona Rust gives the impression of a cozy but upgraded server, where you can see that the admin did everything “for themselves” rather than copying a template. It's not a commercial project, but rather an enthusiast-driven one, and that feels nice: there's no aggressive monetization, no circus with “donation gods”, the atmosphere is more friendly.
The server is tuned for fast Rust, where nobody forces you to grind for weeks or suffer through the first hours without loot. X1000 and Loot+ are great if you like raids, PvP, and quick progression. No need to stress – you can just hop on in the evenings and have fun.
The map is custom – that's also a plus, because vanilla maps are all template-like. There's something to explore here; the world isn't “by the book”.
In terms of stability, the server runs well, no lag, FPS++ is really noticeable… well, as much as Rust can ever please you with FPS 😄
👍 What I liked
fast progression
nice pace
custom map
no toxic donations
convenient if you don't have much time
admin is active and communicates
the server feels “cozy” rather than “sellout”
🤔 What could be improved
the player count is small, and that's the main downside
sometimes it feels like “I'm playing solo Rust”
I'd like more activity and players
💡 Overall impression
If you're looking for huge player counts, constant clans and war — this server isn't about that yet. But if you just want to play, build, explore a custom map, loot and shoot — Gorgona Rust is a great fit.
It's cozy Rust, not mass Rust. And that's fine — just a specific vibe.
🎯 My rating
⭐ 7.5 / 10
for quality — ✔️
for atmosphere — ✔️
for player count — still weak
