Do NOT recommend DayzLand — random bans, everything revolves around donations

I played on DayzLand for some time and ended up getting banned for literally nothing. No clear reasons, no proof, not even a normal conversation — just a silent ban and a vague reply like “you broke the rules, figure it out yourself.” When I asked what exactly I had violated, the admins never gave a specific answer.

At the same time, it really feels like the main focus of the project is donations and VIP status. Players are pushed to pay, but proper support is simply not there. If you’re a regular player without any “special status,” your opinion and your problems don’t matter: if you pay — fine, if you don’t — they can remove you anytime for some made-up reason.

Judging by other people’s feedback, the situation is the same: weak servers, FPS drops, constant lag, lots of cheaters, and the admins react selectively. “Friends” of the staff get special treatment and leniency, everyone else gets bans and silence. Instead of fair survival gameplay, you get a toxic environment where the one who donates more or is closer to the admins is always right.

If you value your time and nerves, stay away from DayzLand. There are plenty of other DayZ servers where you don’t have to worry about being banned just because the admins felt like it.

I don't recommend DayzLand — they ban without explanation, everything revolves around donations

I played on DayzLand for some time and ended up getting banned "for nothing." No clear reasons, proof, or even a normal conversation — just a silent ban and a vague reply like "you broke the rules, figure it out yourself." When I asked to explain specifically what I had violated, the admins never replied.

At the same time, I get a strong sense that the main interest of the project is donations and VIP. Players are encouraged to pay, but normal support is absent. If you're a regular player without a "special status," your opinion and problems are of no interest to anyone: if you want to play, pay; if you don't pay, you can always be removed on a made-up reason.

According to other people's feedback, the picture is the same: weak servers, freezes, frequent lag, a lot of cheaters, and the administration reacts selectively. For "their own" — loyalty and leniency, for others — a ban and silence. Instead of honest survival, you get a toxic dump where the one who is closer to the admin or donates more is right.

If you value your time and nerves, stay away from DayzLand. There are now plenty of other DayZ projects where you don't have to worry about being banned just because the administration felt like it.
