I've been playing on the Alpha Rust server for over two years now, and it used to be a great place to spend time. However, over the last six months, everything has changed for the worse. The biggest problem is how the administrators have started actively interfering in the gameplay, and they do it openly, without even bothering to change their nicknames. This not only ruins the atmosphere of the game but also directly affects the game balance.

Once upon a time, the server consistently had 20-30 players online – it was lively and interesting. Now the average number of players doesn't exceed 3-6, at best 7-8. And the main reason for this decline is the privileges that the admins and their friends abuse. A regular player simply has no interest in participating in this "game" where rules are made for some and don't apply to others.

Personal experience: examples of violations
Server administrator: interference and unfair play
One of the admins doesn't even hide the fact that he's constantly building something on the map. For example, when I was flying across the map and accidentally killed him, a "reaction" kicked in immediately. He started saying something in voice chat like "don't interfere, I'm building here," but I didn't even have time to finish listening – 10 seconds later I was killed by a headshot from invisibility. When I asked why he killed me, the admin, with the voice of an offended teenager about 18 years old, replied that I "didn't hear him out, shot him, so he took revenge." This behavior is more fitting for some child, not a person who is supposed to maintain order on the server.

Player Numb: privileges 24/7
There's a player on the server with the nickname Numb, who claims he is not related to the administration. But no matter how low the online count is – 1, 2, or 3 players – Numb is always in the game, always with top-tier loot, weapons, and rocket launchers. He constantly flies around on a jetpack, surrounded by drones that automatically shoot at all players. These are paid privileges, but by some "magic" they are always available only to him. He knows where all the players are and appears at the most unexpected moment, not letting anyone carry out a raid. This, of course, benefits the admins, because with such a low online count, they need at least some houses to remain intact. Numb's shooting skills themselves are average or slightly above average, but with admin privileges he is practically invincible.

Player Sanek: privileged but weak in PvP
There's another player with the nickname Sanek, who, as can be seen from his behavior, is about 16 years old. He is constantly on the server but is very weak in PvP. His main "task" is to interfere with other players, especially me, because I regularly log on, kill enemies, and raid houses. This person is clearly not interested in fair play – he appears without a spawn sound, often engages in fights, and after losing, he instantly teleports. More than once after a defeat, he has flooded the chat with insults aimed at me, claiming I'm supposedly "weak," though he himself is obviously using privileges.

Conclusion
Actually, I could write a lot more about how a once-great server was ruined by administrators who interfere in the gameplay, give unfair privileges to their friends, and hinder regular players. I have accumulated a lot of video evidence and can provide it, but what's the point and who needs it? The admins just ignore such complaints. I fully understand that I will be banned after this review, but maybe, after reading this, the admins will change their policies, and their server will become much better. Although I probably won't live to see that.
