Hell Let Loose: Vietnam's first roadmap brings Huey, Khe Sanh, ANZAC

The first-ever Hell Let Loose: Vietnam roadmap is out, outlining the rest of 2026 with new maps, weapons, vehicles, faction changes, and a clan-focused system. The new content rolls out across Updates 1.5, 2.0, and 3.0, while optimisation, bug fixes, stability work, and quality-of-life improvements continue through major updates, smaller patches, and hotfixes.

Update 1.5: M14, SKS and a licensed Huey

Update 1.5 arrives in September, bringing two of the most community-requested rifles since launch: the M14 for US Forces and the Type 56 SKS for the NVA.

It also introduces the Bell UH-1 Iroquois "Huey," the first officially licensed vehicle in Hell Let Loose history. Working directly with Bell, the existing helicopter models will be updated to represent the authentic Huey.

The Huey gets a standout feature: radios. The Co-Pilot can play Vietnam War-era music for everyone onboard, and the music also broadcasts from the helicopter itself, so nearby players on the ground can hear it. When multiple Hueys are in the air, their music is synchronised, creating the effect of everyone tuning into the same live radio station.

Players can adjust or completely mute the music via the Music Volume setting, which should help content creators avoid copyrighted music in streams and videos. The current song list is available as a Spotify playlist: Hell Let Loose: Vietnam Radio Station.

Update 2.0: Khe Sanh and ANZAC

Update 2.0 adds the first new battlefield since launch: Khe Sanh. The map promises a different, dramatic look and feel compared to current maps, with new environments and tactical challenges.

The United States faction also expands to become US & Allies when the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) joins. The US & Allies Barracks will feature both US and ANZAC weaponry and personalisation assets in one space, with restrictions around equipping specific weapons.

New ANZAC weapons include:

  • L1A1 SLR, a semi-automatic self-loading rifle for mid-range combat
  • F1 SMG, a rapid-fire close-range option
  • L16A1, an additional mortar for mid-to-long range fire support

Update 3.0: Rung Sat, APCs, SEALs and Green Berets

The second post-launch map takes the battle to the swamps and jungles of Rung Sat. Ground combat expands with Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) for both sides, adding new troop transport options.

Four more weapons join the fight:

  • NVA: MAT-49 SMG, a French Indochina-era weapon modified by the NVA to chamber 7.62 Tokarev rounds, plus the Soviet SVD Dragunov designated marksman rifle
  • US & Allies: Stoner 63 assault rifle and a scoped M14 for precision shooting

The Stoner 63 also brings two iconic groups to the US & Allies Force: the Navy SEALs and the Green Berets.

Battalions and beyond

The roadmap also introduces Battalions, a new in-game system for clans and organised communities. Battalions V1 will let players form persistent groups, track statistics, progress together, unlock content, and join servers alongside other members, creating a central hub for community identity. Ongoing optimisations across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series continue throughout the year.
