DayZ discounts hit 50% in Gamescom 2026's Future Games Show sale

Set in the post-Soviet countries of Chernarus and Livonia, DayZ places players in a world where an unknown virus has turned the majority of the population into frenzied infected. The fight for resources has bred a hostile mentality among survivors, driving what’s left of humanity to collapse. Players are among the few immune and must decide how far they’ll go to survive.

The announcement also spotlights DayZ Frostline, set in the “perilous winter wonderland” of Sakhal with exploration, hunting, survival, and mysteries hidden beneath the frost line. Survivors can unite or go alone, and preparation is the key: as the frost sets in, only those with “Ice in their veins and Fire in their hearts” will endure.

The Deluxe Edition is on sale for up to 50% off, and the Cool Edition is up to 40% off. Both are described as more comprehensive bundles that offer better overall value through a variety of content packages.
